Marvell is rapidly growing its SSD Storage business with innovative new controllers, software development kits & full turn-key firmware offerings.  As part of this growth, we are looking for a Lead Firmware Security Technical Lead / Manager to support our worldwide firmware development team.

 

 

What You Will Be Doing

You will be leading, designing & developing firmware for security for SSD with a global team and be an advocate for security for the whole SSD Firmware team as well as the company.  You will integrate developed code with other modules/projects and also debug/resolve issues with FPGA/ASIC environments.  You will work with other SSD FW team members as well as Hardware and Validation teams.

 

Education & Experience Necessary for Success

• BSEE/CS & 10+ years of hands-on Firmware Development / Analysis experience in SSD or storage systems.

• 15+ years of development experience in embedded controller environment.

• Proficient in firmware & software programming (C/C++, Assembly, Script languages)

• Knowledge & experience in Security, Secure Boot, Secure Download, ATA Security, TCG OPAL, Pyrite, Enterprise and IEEE1667 are required.

• Experience & knowledge of PKI in Security, HSM and Signing Servers

• Experience in firmware debugging tools such as JTAG & In-Circuit Emulator

• Experience with multi-ARM core based development

• Experience with at least 1 storage protocol: PCIe/NVMe, SATA, SCSI

• Excellent communication skills in English

• Willingness to travel
