Sr Staff Program Manager
- Responsible
for cross-functional delivery of customer collaterals in terms of
schedule, quality, and development cost. Must gain clear understanding of
the business objectives and engineering requirements of their project.
Must control risks, minimize uncertainties that threaten
the goal of predictability, and provide timely and accurate reporting
of project status.
- Lead the
team through meeting the entry and exit requirements of Marvell's
Product and IP Lifecycle processes.
- Work closely
with team leads across the project (Architecture, RTL, Verification,
Physical Design, Platform) to define and track ThunderX4 schedules,
requirements, and milestones.
- Engage and
manage vendor relationships to evaluate and procure IP and tools.
- Partner with
Architecture and Marketing teams to define, refine, and document product
goals and specifications.
- Work closely
with the Software team to enable pre-silicon functional and performance
verification.
- Work closely
with Operations and Validation teams to support and help coordinate
post-silicon functional and electrical validation.
- Where appropriate contribute to SOC design
through contributions of specifications, documentation, RTL and debug.
- If necessary, contribute to timing closure
and design/tool flow related issues so that schedules and design goals can
be met.
Qualifications:
- Successful
track record of understanding and delivering complex designs, having
experience in multiple aspects of design from product definition through
productization.
- Strong
leadership skills and demonstrated proficiency in motivating teams to take
on challenges and issues.
- Ability to
create, define, and manage schedules, driving teams to meet them, and
adjusting course as necessary.
- Strong
communication skills. The candidate will provide regular status
updates to executives, execution team, and key customers.
- Strong
collaboration skills. The candidate will be expected to resolve
conflicts and help set priorities among teams in order to achieve project
goals.
- Requires 5+
years of experience in program/project management, and 10+ years
experience in delivering complex IC designs.
- Typically
requires Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or
related fields and 10+ professional experience Or Master’s degree and/or
PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related fields with 5+
years of experience
