What You Will Be Doing

Marvell’s DSP Center for Excellence is looking for a motivated and creative DSP architect who will design the algorithms of next-generation communications and storage systems.  

Your key Responsibilities Will Include

You will drive the development and evaluation of advanced signal processing architectures from concept to silicon. 

You will drive all stages of the product design cycle: algorithm development and simulation, working with digital and analog designers to ensure efficient and accurate hardware development, and evaluating and testing the silicon system.  

We are looking for a self-starter who likes to work in a collaborative environment, and who is a continual learner.  

Education & Experience Necessary for Success

PhD, or MS in EE plus 5 years’ experience in signal processing design.

Strong knowledge of signal processing concepts, including detection, equalization, adaptive loops, and channel modeling.

Completed graduate courses in at least 3 of the following: Digital Signal Processing, Digital Communications, Error Control Coding, Control Theory, Wireless Communication, Estimation/Detection Theory, and Information Theory

Coding skills in C++ and Matlab

What makes you special

Experience in writing a communications system simulator is a plus.

Practical experience in fixed-point precision, real-world waveform analysis, system parameter optimization, and silicon testing is a plus.
