We are looking for you to support our Automotive Center of Excellence in Ettlingen near Karlsruhe as a Software Test Engineer.
As a Software Test Engineer you are responsible for the Quality Assurance and Validation of in house developed automotive Software and Software Development Kits for embedded ARM processors in our Ethernet ASICs.
This includes the definition of test cases, implementation of test procedures and compiling parts of the overall test plan. For SDK testing you will design and implement specific test applications in C/C++ .
You are executing the tests in an automated test environment and document any deviation from the specification in a bug tracking system.
You are working closely with our Software Engineers to identify and fix the issues.
Additionally you will be contributing to the development, maintenance and continuous improvement of the automated tests and test environment.
Qualification:
  • The candidate should have a Bachelor or Master Degree in Electrical Engineering, or something similar and 3+ years of experience in automotive software testing
  • Good knowledge of test methodology
  • Good knowledge in C/C++
  • Knowledge of a script language (e.g. Perl)
  • Good knowledge of a test management system
  • Good communication skills in English, written and spoken
  • The candidate is flexible, proactive and has the ability to work in a team
  • Knowledge in Ethernet and specifically AVB/TSN/PTP/1588 protocols is a plus
