Senior Staff Software Engineer

Server BU is looking for Linux kernel engineers. The job responsibilities are:
* Linux kernel and device driver development for Marvell’s ThunderX2/ThunderX3 ARM64 processors
* Work with Linux kernel community and upstream changes to mainline Linux kernel
* Work with Linux distributions and other partners to ensure support for ThunderX2/ThunderX3 in their solutions
* Working with Cavium hardware team to understand the processor capabilities and errata, and upstream changes to handle them.
* Analyze and resolve issues reported by QA, and contribute any changes needed to the Linux kernel
Experience in Linux kernel developement for ARM64 processors
Expertise in CPU architecture, preferably on modern multiprocessor systems
Good understanding of linux kernel development processes, source management and release processes
Expertise in analyzing and solving kernel issues, and in using software and hardware debugging tools
Good knowledge of IO interfaces such as PCI, USB, SATA and I2C
B.Tech./M.Tech. with 5-8 years relevant experience
