The analyst will play an integral role in providing analytical support to the Global Sales team at Marvell.
Responsibilities:
Assist in the design, re-design, implementation, generation and validation of operational dashboards and metrics.
Prepare Quarterly Sales Operations Reviews.
Create analysis to understand design win activity, close rate and overall funnel effectiveness.
Execute complex data analyses which require using extensive database management skills necessary to complete comprehensive executive summaries.
Manage ad-hoc requests and multiple projects simultaneously, while operating in a high temp environment with ever changing priorities and tasks
Provide meaningful recommendations in addition to value-added analysis resulting in support of making key business decisions. Must have the ability to drill down to root cause and present the findings to management
Assess ongoing reporting needs through investigation, analysis and evaluation to management
Develop expert knowledge of in house data sources, and become adept at quickly extracting and analyzing data from these sources. Work with multiple stakeholders (including IT and Sales) to improve reporting and tracking from our in-house systems
Collect and analyze data from multiple databases: Enterprise Data Warehouse, Salesforce.com, Oracle, and Model N.
Write multi-level queries employing all necessary quality control techniques ensuring data accuracy
Create analytical tools designed to recommend effective revenue based business decisions.  Prepare reports, sales presentations and statistical trend analysis

Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Finance, IT, Operations or Accounting.  MBA a plus.
4 to 6 years’ experience as an analyst working in high-technology, preferably semi-conductors
Sales department experience a plus.
Microsoft Access, Excel, Powerpoint and Tableau experience preferred.
Excellent problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational, analytical and communications skills.
Able to approach tasks with a sense of urgency and meet deadlines.
