We are looking for a Senior Procurement Manager to lead procurement of Contract manufacturing / Outsourcing Partners, working cross-functionally with a global team and supplier base. Coordinate all business activities to achieve purchase decisions, which deliver the highest quality, reliability, and value to meet Marvell’s requirements through the development of strong supplier relationships and strategic alliances both internal and external. This key position is responsible for the management of Contract Manufacturing of Boards and all strategic sourcing activities associated with Contract Manufacturing of Boards and or services leading a World Class Supplier Team.
 
STRATEGIC KEY FUNCTIONS:
- Develop, advocate and implement a robust global commodity plan for Contract Manufacturing
- Develop, advocate & implement sourcing and negotiation strategies for key spend areas to achieve short & long term savings targets.
- Lead, coordinate and facilitate global, cross-functional, commodity teams using TQCDS (Technology, Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Service) principles to achieve commodity plan objectives
- Develop and implement cost-reduction programs through the use of Cost- of-Ownership (COO) analysis, cost build-up analysis and supplier competition.
- Measure and track performance within defined spend category.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- MS/MBA/MA degree
- +5 years of procurement experience in procurement, Contract Manufacturing – Boards
-Excellent verbal and written communications
 
REQUIREMENTS AND GENERAL SKILLS:
- Demonstrated ability to build relationships and think strategically.
-Must have a proven record of strong negotiating skills, with examples to substantiate.
-Must be a go-getter, with a "can-do attitude" and a true excitement for the business.
-Good public speaking and presentation skills
-Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.
-Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
-Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
-Ability to pay attention to details and be organized.
-Willingness to take initiative and to follow through on projects.
-Excellent time management skills, with the ability to prioritize and multi-task, and work under shifting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
-Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
 
TECHNICAL SKILLS
-Thorough knowledge of MS-Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access).
