Senior Strategic Account Manager

Strategic Account Manager


We are looking for a highly motivative creative problem solver and responsive team player to join our Strategic Account Management team selling to and supporting a number of strategic accounts covering various markets segments in automotive, security, networking, storage and data center in San Jose, CA.  


You are the type of person who not only is fun to work with but has a strong ability to influence purchasing decisions and key decision makers through your creative persuasion for increased design wins.  Your persuasive charisma will allow you to build key relationships to interact at all levels from engineers to the C-Suite as necessary.  We are particularly looking for an aggressive, self-motivated candidate who already understands multicore processor and/or networking and data center markets. 


Through your very thorough attention to detail, your responsibilities include all facets of technical Account Management for the assigned customers including:


Ability to understand and successfully articulate Marvell’s value proposition and drive education on Marvell products and roadmap to help increase revenues and market share.


Understand customer’s technical and business challenges and drive customer engagements from initial discussion to design win and ramp to production.


  • Minimum qualifications:

  • BS in CE/CS/EE with 8 plus years of relevant sales experience
  • Track record of achieving sales quota and design win budget success
  • Experience developing, planning and executing a sales penetration plan in order to drive Marvell solutions into customer platforms
  • Ability to overcome obstacles as well as a willingness to learn new aspects of business, process, tools and technologies
