Minimum Qualifications:

  • BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with 10+ years of High performance computing (HPC) applications. MS is preferred.
  • Extensive experience with HPC benchmarking & development, especially optimizing for memory bandwidth bound workloads.
  • Benchmark and optimize HPC applications like CFD, Numerical Weather Services, Financial Services, Energy, etc. on Marvell ThunderX family of Servers for high Performance & scalability.
  • Analyze key HPC benchmarks that focus on specific units of the server like Cores, memory subsystem & I/O.
  • Optimize platform specific components like Linux kernel, Network and Storage controller drivers and libraries using platform specific feature and capabilities.
  • Identify bottlenecks and tune customer benchmarks directly.
  • Establish best practices for applying lessons learnt and optimizations done for a specific customer to all future customer engagements.
  • Participate in the open source communities of various projects to influence design enhancements that benefit platforms.
  • Build, maintain and enhance HPC Server Clusters.
  • Work with other engineering organizations like Compilers, Toolchain and OS with focus on HPC applications.
  • Lead a team of engineers dedicated to application optimization tasks and work very closely with Marketing and Sales organizations to understand customer/partner requirements.
  • Proven record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality.
  • Must have effective interpersonal, teamwork, and communication skills.

Additional Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in the following areas would be a plus:

  • Experience with 64 ARMv8 processors, Java and Python are huge pluses. 
  • Use of GIT, Jira, Microsoft Office, development Experience on Windows and Linux Operating Systems.
