Hardware Validation Intern

The System Validation team is looking for a qualified engineering intern to develop, port and execute SW in order validate Storage, WIFI, and Networking SoC's.  This job will involve testing the bare metal functionality, performance, and power of individual units within each SOC.  The candidate should be proficient in C/C++, Linux, and embedded systems. This person would typically own or share ownership on one or more units on the SOC, develop, debug and execute the test code, and work with design and validation engineering to debug any silicon issues. Hands on debug skills with system boards and ARM processors and experience with different testing methodologies is a plus.

The candidate should be currently enrolled in a University pursuing an undergraduate or graduate level Electrical, Computer, or SW engineering degree.  Overall GPA of 3.5 or higher.  This person should have excellent C/C++ software skills, good knowledge of embedded software development, Linux, and basic knowledge of microprocessor or SOC architecture. Hands on experience with software, boards and/or silicon hardware debug is a plus. Knowledge of PCIe, SATA, USB, NVMe, and WIFI is a plus.
