Our customer solutions engineers expected to have knowledge and experience of networking driver programming and HW fundamentals as well as the curiosity and persistence to take on interesting and challenging issues daily.

This role requires a natural excitement and ability to learn technologies and explain technical issues to a variety of audiences, including enterprise architects, developers and management.



  • Drive and manage the technical aspect of customer design process from device evaluation to production.
  • Understand customer’s target markets, analyze and prioritize customer design requirement, and provide feedback to the engineering team.
  • Drive and assist the sales team to win key designs with Marvell switch.
  • Review customer schematics and layout.
  • Hands-on bring-up and debug of customer boards to diagnose, troubleshoot, resolve issues.
  • Support firmware and systems engineering team in the collective effort of device and system level testing as requested by customers.
  • Provide technical training to Marvell Sales Engineers, Field Applications Engineers, and key customers on Marvell switch products.
  • Prepare demonstrations for trade-shows and customer visits. Work closely with Marketing and Design to define next generation tools and products.
  • Develop technical collateral material including: application notes, release notes, White papers and other technical documents.



  • MSEE and 3+ years of experience as design/system/applications engineer
  • Expertise in 1/10/40/100G interfaces high-speed interfaces desired
  • Expertise in 1/10/28/56G SERDES desired
  • Familiarity with high speed PCB layout, signal integrity, assembly and manufacturing.
  • Working knowledge of using lab equipment including high speed oscilloscopes,  spectrum analyzers, logic analyzers and traffic generators. 
  • Experience in SerDes and complex mixed si gnal IC. Knowledge of high speed interface protocols and standards is preferred.
  • Ability to write scripts for automation.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
