We are looking for a Global Mobility & US Immigration Specialist to develop and execute on our US immigration strategy to enable hiring, global transfers and assignments. 

The Global Mobility & US Immigration Specialist partners at all levels of the company, to help execute on our US immigration strategy. The ideal candidate will have significant previous experience in strong stakeholder partnership, demonstrated success with independently delivering multiple activities for a large US immigration program at a high pace company. They will act as a partner to a variety of internal stakeholders, to smoothly deliver immigration technical advice, transaction support and education while ensuring compliance with government regulations and delivering a premium people experience. 


Acts as the primary resource for employees on all aspects of immigration and internal mobility, including visa processes and regulatory requirements/ changes
Initiate Immigration and Relocation cases with external vendors
Develop the mobility policy, work with key stakeholders for feedback, and implementation and launch the mobility vendor globally
Partner with Finance team to provide quarterly immigration cost estimates
Manage I-9 process and remediation
Provide technical immigration consultations to recruiters, managers, HR BPs and develop strategies to mitigate risk and provide timely solutions to enable hiring
Provide in-depth guidance with analysis of US immigration matters, identification of process and policy gaps, and drafting of policy/process revisions
Develop and implement new or revised US immigration education programs
Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to provide immigration subject matter expertise on employee and company-wide level
Deliver comprehensive, hands-on support to our diverse business partners, recruiting organization, and employee population
Lead various internal reviews or audits of immigration data, processes and policies
Expected to take on additional program responsibility to meet company growth needs
Ability to travel as needed
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in immigration, Human Resources or directly-related field
  • Minimum 5 years of immigration experience including strong knowledge of non-immigrant (H-1B, L-1, TN, F-1) and immigrant (PERM, I-140, I-140) visa processes
  • 2 years of people management experience
  • Expertise in US visa types, processes and experience reviewing case facts to determine the optimal filing type
  • Project management experience across multiple disciplines and stakeholders – driving projects from conception to implementation
  • Experience influencing decisions and articulating immigration matters and mobility to stakeholders
  • Experience monitoring changes in immigration law and policy and analyzing impact to employee population
  • Experience exercising independent judgment and discretion while utilizing company policies and practices to determine appropriate action
  • Experience analyzing situations and spot potential issues
  • Experience working with confidential data
  • Experience absorbing/retaining large amounts of data
  • Experience handling sensitive matters

Preferred Qualification
  • Experience in vendor management
  • 2+ years industry in-house immigration and mobility program experience
