Global Account Manager – Strategic Carrier Customer

The selected candidate must have a solid track record of managing complex accounts in the Carrier market preferably in EMEA. In depth knowledge of strategic Carrier accounts in northern Europe and understanding of related product technologies is strongly desirable. This Account Manager will be responsible for the global management and coordination of a strategic Carrier account, delivering success against sales targets, generating new business opportunities and growing relationships and revenue at this account.
 
  • Acquire in depth knowledge about customer details (locations, resources, applications and target markets, Marvell opportunities, …).
  • Maintain and expand relationships with customer contacts up to CEO level.
  • Maintain and improve Marvell supplier status.
  • Identify, support and track Marvell relevant opportunities in collaboration with application engineering and product lines.
  • Coordinate Quality, Logistic, Finance and Legal matters between the customer and respective Marvell departments.
  • Collaborate closely with colleagues and Marvell departments to ensure global coordination of account efforts to deliver on company account goals.
  • Deliver product feedback to business units to ensure the voice of the customer is recognized and the product lines have all the necessary information for product definitions and roadmaps.
  • 8+ years Semiconductor/Carrier sales experience with a consistent and demonstrated track record exceeding quota and excelling in a highly competitive carrier infrastructure market.
  • Experience with technologies used in Marvell’s product portfolio (Networking, Wireless, SoC).
  • Relationships within the Carrier industry, and a clear track record of revenue generation and growth with a global account.
  • Experience in negotiating complex deals that meet strategic revenue goals.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, collaboration, organizational, and time-management skills.
  • Advanced level of English language proficiency (written and spoken) is a must.
  • Intermediate to Advanced level of French language proficiency (written and spoken) would be a differentiator.
  • Advanced level of presentation, negotiation and closing skills.
  • Resourceful and responsive to change – thrives in a fast-paced and dynamic environment with a strong sense of urgency.
  • Team player.
