Work Scope and responsibility for Office Manager


To operate Marvell office followed by internal process and run the whole office resulted into a high-efficient, high-performance and low-cost team.



        Be responsible to build good relationship with government and relevant executive departments to make all Marvell remote office business can be moved forward smoothly.

        Be responsible to build good relationship with local famous university and talents channel to keep good employer branding for Marvell

        Be responsible to run office issues as below functions but not limited:


1. HR    In charge of the local HR, including but not limited the below HR affairs:

-       To research local HR policy to benefit Marvell and employees with subsides and other activities.

-       New hire onboard preparation, new hire paperwork/Checklist get signed and post back to HQ;

-       New Hire Orientation (NEO); related process and policy training and guide

-       Termination guideline and get documents signed/posted back;

-       The employee inquiry answer and coordination with HR partner if required;

-       Staffing, learning & training coordination.(Campus Talk, Internal employee training )

-       Activity planning and organization;

2. Facility

        In charge of the local Facility related, including but not limited the below

-       Operations, including communications systems, security, health & safety, mechanical and electrical and building services, procurement and office services, including through the management of external contractors.

-       Maintain and execute strategies and policies for property infrastructure management.

-       Implement and maintain Environmental Health & Safety and Security & Crisis

-      Management (EHS/SCM) initiatives to ensure compliance with goals, objectives, required metrics, planning and scheduling deadlines, budget requirements, and proper reporting and documentation management

-       Lead in meeting the current and projected Facility management requirements, establishing clear and measurable serviced delivery levels that support business objectives.

-       Monitor monthly financial performance of properties versus budget; Control expenses as necessary to achieve goals.

-       Provide detailed scope requirements for renovation/space planning initiatives with implementation of associated project management disciplines.

-       Provide project, event and logistics support to several Marvell Business critical projects, which may include display set-up, key customer presentations and LEED, Marvell business meetings/events, facility management best practice sharing, space fit-out and allocation for changing tenant needs.



3. IT

 -Responsible for IT related, including but not limited the below.

-       Assist IT, where applicable, in IT’s day-to-day responsibilities as requested as assets assignment.

-       Assist IT, on projects or special initiatives as assigned.


4. Finance

---Responsible for finance related, including but not limited the below.

-       To research local finance policy and process to apply subsides timely

-       Keep company chop and mange the chop usage per legal request.

-       Coordinate information with SH finance team if local authority contacts them for any finance issue. Such as : Government, Banking, Tax Bureau, vendor.

-       Assist finance team to provide Concur using process and check concur report

-       Remote office petty cash management

-       Control local office expense into budget and do reasonable forecast to keep low cost.


5. Legal

---Responsible for local office operate legally

-       Owner of business license renewal, get appropriate supports from HQ;

-       Maintain good relationship with the related government department, for example, Bureau of Industry and Commerce, Tax Bureau, Human Resources and Social Insurance Bureau etc.


----Other related G&A issue, including Purchasing and Sourcing

-          Search for better local vendors to get better service and keep good relationship.

-       Organizing and maintaining diaries, making appointments and transportation arrangement, logistics and so on.

-          Setting up accommodation and entertainment arrangements for company visitors

Experienced for more than 3 years of the similar position

Be famliar with operaton,FM,the related functions

Influence of written and oral English
