The ideal candidate is a proven leader who has prior experience in silicon product management. The candidate would have relevant experience in Enterprise networking, Service Provider, Data Center markets. Good understanding of Ethernet and switching technology and system knowledge of networking equipment are essential.   The ability to collaborate with peers and independently multitask, prioritize, make high-level decisions, meet aggressive deadlines, and communicate results, trade-offs, and decisions to all stakeholders is necessary to be effective in this role.


To be successful in this position, you need to be a self-starter and be curious about our technology, with a strong desire to be involved in many stages of the Ethernet switch roadmap. As a member of our team, your responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to:


 

  • Defining the strategic direction of the switch portfolio and responsible for building and driving a high growth switch portfolio for our business.  The role spans both inbound and outbound with strong focus on product management functions. 
  • Positioning our next generation Ethernet switch products in Enterprise, Datacenter, Service Provider, Industrial market segments.  You will be responsible for product definition, positioning and directly driving design wins with customers. The position is based in Santa Clara, California.

 

The candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Defining next generation Ethernet switch silicon and roadmap
  • Identifying new market opportunities and drives plans to exploit these new markets.
  • Assess competition and customer product development plan to help drive differentiated product roadmap
  • Collaborate with Sales and Business Development teams to establish strong customer relationships and competitiveness of product offering.
  • Own product forecasting for effective management of the business.
  • Defines and develops product collateral, competitive analysis, product roll out, and field training.
  • Identify investments required to drive sustainable business growth and profitability.

  • The successful candidate will have excellent written and oral communications skills, and ability to collaborate and be effective in fast-paced environment.
  • A combination of technical and business management degrees with 10+ years of relevant semiconductor and networking experience is highly desirable.
  • Typical requirements are a minimum of 10+ years of relevant semiconductor marketing experience (4 years of which should include managing a revenue base) and a BS degree in engineering (EE or CS disciplines), with MS/MBA degree preferred
  • An innovative energetic leader and individual with a decisive style and attentiveness to current and future customer and market trends.

  • Track record of successfully launching, managing and growing products.
