SW RT embedded engineer to work with the Customer Solutions/Applications Engineering teams responsible to support and engage with Marvell customers for all Marvell’s switches.

As part of the work the engineer will work with Marvell’s customers, debug field cases and be the front-end for Marvell switching teams in front of the customers.


Very good understanding and working experience on C language with data structures, experience in writing driver level code.

Experience in SW RT embedded development

Very good in debugging skills (using dumps, traces and debuggers etc).

Well verse with the basic Ethernet networking concepts like vlan, Ethernet, bridging, L2/L3 forwarding, ACL, QoS, understanding of IP routing, TCP/IP, MPLS is good to know.

Well verse with Linux operating system (i.e. build environment, Makefiles, configuration management, shell scripting, uboot etc.)

Experience in any networking chipset/packet-processor and ability to read the hardware/functional/register specs

Well verse with operating system concepts like memory management, process scheduling, synchronization methods. 

Hands on experience with any real time operating systems is a plus.

The job requires travelling in India (3-5 times per year) and abroad (1 per year)

5 to 10 Years of experience, with good academics BE/B.Tech/M.Tech degree in computer science/ Electronics and Communications Engineering.
