We continue to design high performance RF/Analog circuits for today’s highly sophisticated CMOS RF transceiver products, using state-of-the-art deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.   • M.S. with 3-5 years of experience or Ph.D. degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or related technical field. Will accept foreign degree equivalent.
  • Must have the following skill set (as evidenced through experience or graduate-level coursework): Worked on the design of RF & mixed signal circuits for transceiver ICs.
  • Demonstrated expertise in deep sub-micron CMOS technologies.
  • Experience in designing LNA, Mixer, RF VGAs, PA, VCO, fractional-N PLL, and Low-noise bias circuits.
  • Experienced in comprehending RF transceiver’s system level requirements to translate it into the circuit level specifications.
  • Demonstrated expertise in IC design CAD tools such as SpectreRF, Goldengate, Laker, and Cadence Virtuoso.
  • Have knowledge of physical layout requirements and have performed critical layouts.
  • Have performed lab testing to evaluate prototype units to design specifications.

Must pass company technical review.


Skill Set required:

  • RF circuit & mixed signal designs including LNA, Mixer, PA, VCO, Fractional-N PLL, LO Distribution and low noise bias circuits.
  • Experience in RF transceiver system level requirements and ability to translate the requirements into circuit level specifications.
  • Experience in design and modeling of mixed signal RF circuits and systems such as Fractional-N PLL and Polar Transmitter.
  • Experience in designing on chip RF passive components including inductors, transformers and RF switches.
  • Experience in Linearized PA system design employing mixed-signal or digital predistortion techniques.
  • Expertise in and performed physical layout of RF circuits
  • Expertise in IC design CAD tools including Cadence Spectre-RF, Virtuoso AMS Desiger.
  • Chip tapeout experience using Calibre.
  • RF instrument such as network analyzer, spectrum analyzer & vector signal analyzer
